Justicia adhathoda, commonly known as Adhatoda, Malabar nut, or "Pavatta" in Sinhala, is a medicinal shrub native to Sri Lanka. This evergreen plant is widely recognized in traditional Ayurvedic and Siddha medicine for its therapeutic properties, especially in treating respiratory ailments.
