Ziziphus oenoplia - Straggling or clmbing shrubs, 3-5 m high; young branches densely rusty tomentose; stipular spines solitary or in pairs. Leaves obliquely ovate-lanceolate, 2.4-6.5 x 1.5-3 cm, rounded at base. Inflorescences axillary, sessile cymes of 20-25-flowered. Flowers green, 4-6 mm across. Drupes globose, 3-5 mm in diameter, black, when ripe, with acrid pulp. Seeds 1-2, ovoid.
