Thevetia peruviana - A small, glabrous tree. Leaves linear-lanceolate, slightly coriaceous. Cymes short-peduncled, monochasially branched, terminal but often overtopped by axillary branches. Corolla large, yellow; tube 4-5 cm long, funnel shaped the upper part. Carples united into a broad drupe, slightly compressed laterally, about 3 cm long and wide, with few , flattened seeds.
