Sapindus trifoliata - Large trees to 20 m high. Leaves paripinnate, 15 – 30 cm long; leaflets 2 – 3 pairs, subsessile, opposite or subopposite, elliptic-lanceolate, 8 – 18 X 5 – 7.5 cm, glabrous, entire, acute-acuminate, base slightly oblique. Flowers in an erect, much branched, terminal, slightly pubescent panicle, sweet-scented. Fruit 2 – 3lobed, 1.2 – 1.8 mm long, pubescent when young, glabrous and hard when mature, seeds 1 in each cell, 6 – 8 mm long, black.
