Pavonia odorata - Woody herb or subshrub to 1 (- 2) m tall. Leaves 0.8 – 2.5 (- 6.5) X 0.6 - 2.2 ( -7) cm, ovate-suborbicular, shallowly 3-lobed, lobes ovate, basally 5-veined, base cordate, dentate to subentire, apex acute, stellately-hairy above and beneath, often densely so beneath, appearing felted. Flowers solitary or paired, 1.5 cm diameter. Schizocarp 7 mm, pubescent; mericarps c. 2.5 – 3.25 X 1.5 mm, not winged. Seeds pubescent.
