Mussaenda frondosa - Shrub, stipules ovately triangular, densely hairy, apex bifurcate. Leaves variable, ovate to lanceolate, elliptic to orbicular or obovate, 4.5-13 X 2-8.5 cm, apex acute, base cuneate to obtuse. Inflorescence a few-flowered cyme, petalloid sepal creamy white, ovate, 3.5-12 X 2-9 cm. Corolla tube 2-2.7c. Fruit globose, 1 cm in diameter. Common in secondary forests.
