Mikania cordata - Scandent twining herbs; stems up to 7 m long. Leaves opposite, deltoid-ovate; petioles 2-3 (-5) cm long, lamina 3-10 x 1.5-6 cm, cordate up at the base. Capitula cylindrical, 1.5 mm dia., numerous in corymbs on axillary branches. Corolla greenish-white, 4-5 mm long. Achenes 2-3 mm long, dark brown, glabrous. Pappus white at first, becoming reddish-brown on storage, 3 mm long.
