Lepianthes umbellatum - Perennial herb. Leaf lamina 15 to about 30 cm long and wide, deeply cordate, abruptly short-acuminate; densely dotted with minute, dark brown glands on both sides. Spike 5 – 10 (- 12) cm long, 2.5 – 4 mm in diameter, with an individual peduncle of 2 – 7 mm. bracts 0.3 – 0.5 mm long and wide. Fruit top-shaped.
