Laportea interrupta - Monoecious annual herb to 1.5 m tal, woody at base; branches lightly pubescent with stinging hairs. Leave ternate, 5-12x (3-) 5-7 (-10) cm, margin scarsely serrate, upper surface covered with stinging hairs; petioles (3-) 5-8 cm long; stipules interpetiolar, 2-3.5 mm long. Male and female flowers separately formed. Achenes about 1.5 mm long and broad.
