Heliotropium indicum - Herbs, coarse, sometimes suffrutescent, to 1.1 m tall. Leaves alternate, ovate or deltoid, 12 X 7 cm, sparsely pubescent on both surfaces, acute, the margins undulate, the base rounded to obtuse and long –attenuate. Inflorescence scorpioid cymes, unilateral, mostly terminal, flowers small, sessile, blue, violet, or rarely white. Fruit deeply 4-lobed, the lobes horizontally divergent, nutlets in pair, angulate.
