Connarus championii

Connarus championii - Scandent shrub. Leaflets 5 to 7, oval oblong, 7 – 21 cm long, 4 – 7 cm broad, subacute at base, caudate acuminate at tip, coriaceous, blabrous on both surfaces, shining above. Inflorescence in axillary and terminal much-branched panicles. Fruit and ovoid follicular structure 3.5cm long. Seed single on a marginal placenta, ovoid, 9 cm long, 3cm broad, surrounded by a yellow lobulated arillode, white when immature fail brown later.
