Catharanthus roseus - A perennial herb or subshrub with young parts puberulous. Petiole 0.2 –about 1 cm long. Leaves opposite; leaf blade 2.5-6 cm long and 1-3 cm wide. Flowers solitary or paired from the leaf axills.Corolla crimson, pink or white; tube 2-3 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm in diam. Merocarps 1.2-2.5 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm in diam.
