Cassia kleinii - Perennial herb arising from a woody base. Leaves (1.5 -) 2.5 – 6cm long, with (3 -) 10 – 25 pairs of leaflets; leaflets linear-oblong, somewhat falcate, asymmetrical with the midrib marginal or submarginal, mucronate at the apex, rounded at the base, glabrous to pilose on both surfaces. Flowers 1 – 2 (- 3), supra-axillary, flowers yellow. Fruit oblong, elastically dehiscent, 10 – 12 seeded. Seeds rhombic, castaneous, marked with a few lines of minute puncta.
