Aegiceras corniculata - Shrubs or small trees, 2-5 m tall. Leaves 4.5-8.5 x 2-4 cm; petioles 6-10 mm. Inflorescences umbellate, 15-20-flowered. Flowers about 1-1.25 cm across, white, fragrant; pedicels 8-12 mm long; corolla white, tube campanulate-urceolate, 5 mm long. Fruits 2.5-6 cm long, 4-5 mm broad, bapsules, reddish-brown. Seeds viviparous.
