شاي سيلان نوعٌ شائع من الشاي الأسود، يُعرف أيضاً بالشاي السريلانكي. يشتهر شاي سيلان بنكهته القوية، إلا أن مذاقه قد يختلف اختلافاً كبيراً باختلاف نوع الشاي ومكان زراعته في سريلانكا.
The Eastern slopes of the central mountain region is home to the Uva Tea plantations. Cold dry strong guests of wind that are a feature in the months of July & August help produce fine flavour teas with special mentholyptus character so unique to Uva is only produced in those two months each year.
