Solanum lasiocarpum - Stout, armed, densely pubescent herb or small shrub up to 1 m tall; prickles long, straight, and very sharp. Leaves up to 40 cm long and almost as wide, scattered prickles along the midrib and nerves. Inflorescences few-flowering. Corolla white or purple, lobes 2 cm diameter. Fruit yellow, globose, 2 cm diameter; seeds discoid, 2 mm diameter.
