Dialium ovoideum (Gal Siyambala)
Dialium ovoideum (Gal Siyambala) is a native tree species found in Sri Lanka’s dry and intermediate zones. Belonging to the legume family, this hardy tree is known for its distinctive round, dark brown pods that contain a tangy, sweet-sour pulp and hard seeds.
