Das weltweit meistverkaufte Auto, der Toyota Corolla Axio, ist ein kompaktes Auto, das mit rekordverdächtigen Verkaufszahlen nicht nur in Japan, sondern auch weltweit aufwarten kann. Die erste Generation des Toyota Corolla wurde 1966 geboren, und die zehnte Generation wurde im Oktober 2006 zum Verkauf freigegeben. Eine vollständige Modelländerung wurde nur auf die Corolla Sedan- und Wagon-Modelle angewendet. Der Corolla Runx und der Minivan Corolla Spacio wurden nicht geändert.
Der Toyota Corolla Axio ist ein kleines Personenkraftfahrzeug. Es ist praktisch und einfach zu handhaben. Das Ziel des Designs war es, ein Auto zu schaffen, das ein dynamisches Äußeres hat, aber immer noch kompakt in der Größe ist, und ein komfortables Interieur in moderater Größe.
Der Hauptpunkt, der im aktuellen Modell besonders weiterentwickelt wurde, ist die einfache Handhabung. Alle Limousinenmodelle unter dem Namen Axio wurden serienmäßig mit einem Rückmonitor ausgestattet. Darüber hinaus ist das Lenkrad nicht nur mit einem Neigemechanismus, sondern auch mit einem teleskopischen Mechanismus ausgestattet.
