مسجد ديواتاجاها
أصبح مسجد ديواتاغاها في دائرة ليبتون، كولومبو، اسماً مألوفاً في كل بيت مسلم، ولا يمر أي مسلم بجوار ضريح هذا الولي الصالح دون أن يقدم له الاحترام والتقدير.
الضريح الذي يبلغ عمره 150 عاماً هو مثوى الولي المسلم حضرة السيد الشيخ عثمان صديق بن عبد الرحمن، الذي جاء إلى سيلان من عرفة في الجزيرة العربية، وزار قمة آدم في بالانغودا، ثم أقام لاحقاً في المنطقة التي عُرفت فيما بعد باسم حدائق القرفة. ولهذا الضريح تاريخ مثير للاهتمام.
في عام 1820 كانت هناك امرأة سنهالية تبيع الزيت، وهي المعيلة الوحيدة لعائلتها، وكانت تقوم بجولاتها اليومية من بامبالابيتيا عبر غابة القرفة إلى مرادانا.
في تلك الغابة تعثرت بجذر شجرة كاجو وسقطت، وتحطمت وعاءها الفخاري إلى قطع. صرخت قائلة: “آيو! آيو! ستجوع عائلتي اليوم، لقد دُمر مصدر رزقي الوحيد.” وبكت بشدة حتى أنهكها التعب ونامت. ثم أيقظها صوت يخبرها ألا تيأس ويطمئنها أن كل شيء سيكون على ما يرام قريباً. نظرت حولها فلم تجد أحداً، فبكت مرة أخرى من شدة اليأس.
تكرر الصوت مرة أخرى بنفس الكلمات المطمئنة. كان ذلك أمراً لا يصدق، إذ لم تكن ترى أي إنسان في تلك الغابة الكثيفة. وفجأة رأت رجلاً مسناً يرتدي ثوباً أخضر، وكان مظهره المهيب يبعث الطمأنينة في نفس المرأة المنكوبة.
قال لها: “لا تخافي، سأعيد لكِ الزيت. فقط أحضري وعاءً.”
ذهبت المرأة إلى مرادانا إلى منزل أحد الزبائن الدائمين، وهو مسلم يُدعى مامّا لبي، وطلبت من والدته إعطائها وعاءً جديداً. وعندما استفسرت عن هذا الطلب الغريب، قالت بائعة الزيت: “سأعود وأخبركِ بقصتي.” ثم عادت بالوعاء إلى الغابة لتجد الرجل العجوز مستنداً إلى شجرة “دواتا” أو “ديواتا”. وأمرها أن تضع الوعاء في مكان انكسار الأول. ثم ضغط بقدمه على الأرض، وإذا بالزيت يتفجر من الأرض!
أصيبت المرأة بالذهول. ثم أخذ بعض أوراق شجرة الكاجو وطلب منها أن تجمع بها الزيت وتملأ الوعاء. وقال لها: “يمكنك الآن كسب رزقك.” كما طلب منها أن تخبر زبائنها المسلمين وتريهم المكان الذي ظهر فيه. وانحنت المرأة امتناناً للولي ودعت له بالبركة.
سارعت إلى منزل مامّا لبي وروت القصة لأمه، فخرجت مجموعة تضم مامّا لبي وبيريا بيتشه وميرا كاني وبائعة الزيت للتحقق من المعجزة، ووجدوا دليلاً عليها: الوعاء المكسور، والزيت المتسرب، وشجرة الكاجو وأوراقها، وشجرة الدواتا.
تلى الجمع من المسلمين سورتي يس والفاتحة ودعوا قائلين: “يا ولي الله! الحمد لله الذي أتاح لنا فرصة الشهادة على معجزتك. يا الله، نسألك أن تكشف لنا هوية هذا الولي.”
ثم عادوا إلى والدة مامّا لبي وأكدوا صدق المعجزة وصحة رواية المرأة. واشتروا ما تبقى من زيت المرأة بعد انتهاء جولتها، وأطعموها طعاماً جيداً ثم صرفوها. مسلمو المنطقة

The population of Colombo is a mix of numerous ethnic groups, mainly Sinhalese, Moors and Tamils. There are also small communities of people with Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, Malay and Indian origins living in the city, as well as numerous European expatriates.
The great majority of Sri Lankan corporations have their head offices in Colombo. Some of the industries include chemicals, textiles, glass, cement, leather goods, furniture, and jewellery. In the city center is located South Asia's second tallest building - The World Trade Centre.
About Western Province
The Western Province is the most densely populated province of Sri Lanka. It is home to the legislative capital Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte as well to Colombo, the nation's administrative and business center. Western Province is divided into 3 main districts called Colombo (642 km²), Gampaha (1,386.6 km²) and Kalutara (1,606 km²) districts. As Sri Lanka's economic hub, all the major local and international corporations have their presence in the city and so do all the major designer and high street retailers, so be ready to indulge in some retail therapy in western province.
Having the highest population in the all the provinces, the almost all the premier educational institutions in the island are located in western province. Universities in the province include the University of Colombo, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University of Kelaniya, Open University, Sri Lanka, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and University of Moratuwa .Western province has the largest amount of schools in the country, which includes National, Provincial, Private and International schools.
