Toyota Aqua
Toyota Aqua é um hatchback subcompacto/supermini totalmente híbrido elétrico (segmento B) fabricado e comercializado pela Toyota desde 2011. O nome é exclusivo para o mercado japonês, já que o veículo foi exportado para mercados internacionais sob o nome de Prius c, aproveitando a popularidade do nome do carro híbrido Prius e sendo comercializado como a alternativa menor ao Prius liftback.
Aqua é considerada o lançamento de marca mais bem-sucedido no Japão nos últimos 20 anos. Em janeiro de 2017, Aqua/Prius c era o segundo modelo híbrido mais vendido da Toyota, após o Prius regular, com 1.380.100 unidades vendidas mundialmente. O Japão, como líder de mercado da Aqua, vendeu 1.154.500 unidades desse modelo até janeiro de 2017. Aqua foi o carro mais vendido (não-kei) no Japão por três anos consecutivos, de 2013 a 2015.
O nome Aqua significa "água" em latim. O nome foi escolhido para associar o carro com uma "imagem de transparência limpa" e "algo que é universalmente apreciado".
