Leucas zeylanica - An annual herb with erect stem, 20-50 cm tall, many branches from the base. Stem is quadrangular and hispid-hairy. leaves simple, opposite, 3-9 cm long, upto 1.3 cm wide, linear or lanceolate linear, hispid on both sides. Flowers white, bisexual, numerous and crowded in two or three whorls. Petals 5, fused into two lipped corolla, 2 cm long. Stamens 4. Ovary superior. Fruit 4 seeded.
