Toyota Voxy
De Toyota Voxy, een middelgrote MPV die bekend staat om zijn veelzijdigheid en gezinsvriendelijke functies, werd voor het eerst geïntroduceerd in de vroege jaren 2000. In 2014 bevond de Voxy zich in zijn tweede generatie, die begon in 2007. Deze generatie was ontworpen om ruimtelijkheid, praktisch nut en comfort te bieden voor grotere gezinnen of groepsvervoerbehoeften. De reputatie van Toyota voor betrouwbaarheid en efficiëntie droeg bij aan de aantrekkingskracht.
De 2014 Toyota Voxy had een vierkant, functioneel ontwerp, typisch voor MPV's. Het was ontworpen met de focus op het maximaliseren van de binnenruimte zonder concessies te doen aan stijl. De bodemvrijheid van de Voxy was ongeveer 160 mm, wat voldoende is voor stedelijke wegen en gematigde landelijke paden, waardoor het zeer veelzijdig is voor verschillende rijomstandigheden in Sri Lanka.
Het interieur van de Voxy was opmerkelijk ruim, met een flexibele zitconfiguratie die plaats bood aan maximaal acht passagiers. Het interieur was ontworpen voor comfort en praktisch gebruik. De kofferbak was zeer veelzijdig, met een grote laadcapaciteit, vooral wanneer de achterstoelen werden neergeklapt of heringericht.
De Voxy was uitgerust met een 2,0-liter motor, die een balans bood tussen prestaties en brandstofefficiëntie. Hoewel het niet bijzonder sportief was, bood de motor voldoende kracht voor dagelijks gebruik en comfortabele ritten, wat het geschikt maakt voor de verschillende rijomstandigheden in Sri Lanka.
De rijervaring in de Voxy was soepel en comfortabel, met een veringssysteem dat effectief wegimperfecties absorbeerde en een comfortabele rit voor alle passagiers garandeerde. Het was goed geschikt voor lange ritten en stadsrijden.
Veiligheidskenmerken van de Voxy 2014 omvatten standaarduitrusting zoals airbags, ABS en stabiliteitscontrole. Technologisch gezien was het uitgerust met functies zoals een multimediasysteem en automatische klimaatregeling, wat de algehele rijervaring verbeterde.
