Kia Sportage
De Kia Sportage is een reeks sport utility vehicles die sinds 1993 door de Zuid-Koreaanse fabrikant Kia wordt geproduceerd, in vijf generaties. Aanvankelijk was het een compacte SUV die op een body-on-frame chassis werd gebouwd, maar de tweede generatie Sportage ging over op een platform op basis van een auto, waardoor deze in de categorie van compacte crossover-SUV's werd geplaatst, en is samen met de Hyundai Tucson ontwikkeld. Sinds de lancering van het vijfde generatie model in 2021 heeft Kia de Sportage in twee maten ontwikkeld, met verschillende wielbases voor verschillende markten.
De Sportage is sinds 2016 het bestverkochte model van Kia wereldwijd, nadat het de Rio had overtroffen. In 2018 bereikte het model de mijlpaal van 5 miljoen geproduceerde eenheden. Vanaf 2023 staat de Sportage tussen de Seltos of Niro en de drie-rijige Sorento in de wereldwijde SUV-lijn van Kia.
In 2022 won de Sportage de categorieën 'Family SUV' en 'Full Hybrid' bij de Scottish Car of the Year Awards. In 2023 werd de Sportage gekozen tot Auto van het Jaar in Marokko.
