Nissan X-Trail
De Nissan X-Trail is een compacte crossover SUV die sinds 2000 wordt geproduceerd door de Japanse autofabrikant Nissan. Sinds de introductie wordt de X-Trail gepositioneerd onder de op vrachtwagens gebaseerde modellen Xterra en Pathfinder.
Vanaf het derde generatie model is de X-Trail hetzelfde voertuig geworden als de Rogue op de Noord-Amerikaanse markt. Voor het eerst was de X-Trail beschikbaar met een optie voor drie rijstoelen. Het betekende ook een verandering in ontwerp, van een robuuste, hoekige uitstraling naar een meer stedelijk georiënteerd crossover SUV ontwerp. Het vierde generatie model introduceerde een e-Power hybride aandrijflijnoptie, die de enige optie werd in Japan en Europa.
Vanaf 2022 wordt de X-Trail gepositioneerd tussen de kleinere Qashqai – met wie de X-Trail het platform deelt – en de grotere Pathfinder in het wereldwijde crossover SUV-aanbod van Nissan.
