Kegalle-distriktet
Kegalle er et distrikt i Sabaragamuwa-provinsen i Sri Lanka. Det er et af de 25 distrikter i Sri Lanka og udgør landets anden administrative niveau. Distriktet administreres af et distriktssekretariat ledet af en distriktssekretær (tidligere kendt som en regeringsagent), der udnævnes af Sri Lankas centralregering. Det var tidligere kendt som et Dissavani i Sri Lanka.
Distriktet dækker et areal på 1.693 km². Ifølge folketællingen i 2012 har distriktet en befolkning på 837.179, hvilket svarer til cirka 4,0 % af Sri Lankas samlede befolkning.
Distriktet Kegalle er beliggende mellem de centrale højlande og de vestlige sydlige sletter og har et fortryllende naturligt miljø. Den vestlige del af distriktet ligger omkring 50 m (160 fod) over havets overflade, mens den østlige del overstiger 1.800 m (5.900 fod). Gummidyrkning strækker sig over størstedelen af distriktets areal, og mindre eksportafgrøder fra området omfatter kaffe, kakao, peber, nellike og muskatnød. Sri Lankas bedste grafitmine er beliggende i Bogala i Kegalle-distriktet. Distriktets samlede areal er 1.692,8 km² (653,6 kvadratmil).
