Lakpura® Kubuk Plant

Lakpura® Kubuk Plant is a majestic tropical tree commonly found in Sri Lanka, admired for its tall growth, broad shade, and cultural importance. Growing up to 20–25 meters tall, the Kubuk tree features simple green leaves and pale yellow, honey-scented flowers that add natural beauty to landscapes and gardens.

The tree is traditionally associated with Theravada Buddhism and is believed to have been the Bodhi tree of Anomadassi Buddha. Kubuk is also valued in Ayurveda and traditional practices. Its leaves support the lifecycle of the tussar silk moth, making it important for natural silk production.
