Experience:

Playing a dominant role in the park’s ecosystem, majestic Sri Lankan elephants are a common sight that safari-goers never tire of. A Hurulu Eco Park Safari also offers sightings of leopards, rusty-spotted cats, star tortoises, jungle fowl, parrots, and hawks, showcasing a variety of ecosystems from dense shrublands to thick forests.

The park provides a temporary residence for herds of elephants migrating between Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks during Sri Lanka’s dry and flood seasons. Hurulu Eco Park plays a vital role in the survival of elephant populations in the country.

Explore 10,000 hectares of mysterious wilderness that supports the dry zone ecosystem and houses rich wildlife in an evergreen forest. Keep an eye out for incredible wildlife sightings around the scenic Hurulu Wewa reservoir, the heart of the park.
