누와라엘리야 지구

도시는 4월 싱할라 및 타밀 새해 축제 기간에 진정으로 활기를 띱니다. 축제 시즌은 매년 4월 1일 의식적으로 시작됩니다. 4월 주요 명소로는 자동차 및 경마 이벤트가 포함됩니다. 자동차 경주는 마하가스토테 및 라델라 힐 클라임에서 진행되며, 전자는 1934년부터 개최되고 있습니다. 누와라엘리야 로드 레이스와 4X4 레이크 크로스는 그레고리 호수 가장자리에서 많은 팬들을 끌어들입니다. 호텔에서는 매일 밤 파티가 열리며, 시즌은 누와라엘리야 경마장에서 9 펄롱(1811 m) 거리의 주지사컵, 누와라엘리야 골프 클럽 골프 토너먼트, 월말 플라워 쇼로 절정에 달합니다.
