Experience:

You will start your tour at 07:00 AM from Colombo Port, where you will be picked up by your chauffeur. Ensure you bring a packed breakfast if you are unable to eat beforehand.

The first stop on your itinerary will be the Handunugoda Tea Factory, which you will reach by approximately 10:00 AM. This factory is renowned for producing virgin white tea, untouched by human hands during the process. During the one-and-a-half-hour tour, you will witness how this rare and luxurious tea is made.

At 11:30 AM, you will travel to Ahangama to meet the stilt fishermen, one of the most iconic figures of Sri Lanka. You will observe them fishing and learn their traditional methods.

At approximately 12:15 PM, you will have lunch at a place of your choice and reach Galle by around 1500 hrs. This historic coastal city, which endured three foreign invasions, boasts a rich heritage. You will explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Galle Lighthouse, the National Maritime Museum, cobblestoned streets with Dutch names, and other colonial monuments. Your city tour will conclude by approximately 16:15 PM.

Finally, you will visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery around 17:00 PM. Here, you will learn about the five types of sea turtles that nest in Sri Lanka and see how their nests are protected. You will also have the chance to see and even touch baby turtles, as well as observe injured adult turtles receiving care.

You will return to Colombo Port and complete your excursion by 18:00 PM.
