Sabaragamuwa provints
Sabaragamuwa on veel üks Sri Lanka provints, mis asub saare lõuna-keskosas ning koosneb kahest halduspiirkonnast: Ratnapura ja Kegalle. Sabaragamuwa on nimetatud endiste põliselanike järgi, nimelt Sabara, indika termin jahimeeste-korilaste hõimude kohta, termin, mida iidsetes Sri Lankas harva kasutati. Provints on tuntud oma kalliskivide tööstuse poolest, eriti Ratnapura piirkonnas. Lisaks kalliskivide tööstusele on provints tuntud riisi- ja puuviljakultuuride ja kummiistanduste poolest. Provintsis on ka turismiobjekte, nagu Sinharaja metsareservaat, Udawalawa rahvuspark, Kitulgala ja Adam’s Peak jne.
Provintsi pealinn on Ratnapura, mille nimi tähendab „kalliskivide linn“, linn, mis on kõige tuntum Sri Lanka pikaajalise kalliskivitööstuse poolest. Enamik linna elanikest sõltub kalliskivikaubandusest. Kalliskivikaevandused on ümbritsevas piirkonnas tavaline nähtus. Enamik suurtel kalliskiviettevõtjatel on tegevus Ratnapurast. Samuti tegutseb linnas märkimisväärne arv välismaiseid kalliskivikauplejaid. Riisi kasvatamine seisab Ratnapuras praegu silmitsi ebakindla tulevikuga, kuna paljud põllumehed loobuvad riisi kasvatamisest ja lähevad kalliskivikaevandusse, mis on tulusam viis raha teenimiseks. Paljud maitsvad puuviljad, nagu mango ja papaia, ning ka köögiviljad kasvatatakse turule müügiks.
Ratnapura asub A4 maanteel, mis ühendab pealinna Colombo Kalmunai linnaga Ida provintsis. Teine maantee A8 ühendab linna Panadura linnaga Lääneranniku piirkonnas Sri Lankas. Ratnapura iseloomustab troopiline vihmametsade kliima. Linn asub Sri Lanka edelaosas, nn niiskes tsoonis. Linna sademeid toovad peamiselt edela monsoonid maidist septembrini ja see on sageli üle ujutatud.
Sabaragamuwa provints
Linlas ja selle ümbruses on palju palvemaju. Mõned neist on mägi Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak), Maha Saman Devale, Delgamu Viharaya, Pothgul Viharaya, Diva Guhava, Shiva tempel, Jumma mošee ning Püha Peetruse ja Pauluse kirikud ja Püha Luuka kirik.
Looduse maalilised loomingud on juga nagu Bopath Ella Kuruwita linnas, Katugas Ella, populaarne juga Mahawalawattas, 3 km kaugusel Ratnapurast; Kirindi Ella, seitsmes kõrgeim juga Sri Lankas, 4 km kaugusel Ratnapura-Pelmadulla põhimaanteest; Rajanawa, asub Ratnapura-Kalawana põhimaantee kõrval Marapana külas.

Southern ProvinceThe Southern Province of Sri Lanka is a small geographic area consisting of three districts: Galle, Matara and Hambantota. Farming and fishing are the main sources of income for the vast majority of the people in this region.

Uva ProvinceThe Uva Province consists of two districts: Badulla and Moneragala while the capital of the province is Badulla. Uva is bordered by the Eastern, Southern and Central provinces.

Sabaragamuwa ProvinceSabaragamuwa is yet another province of Sri Lanka, located in the south-central region of the island and is comprised of two administrative districts: Ratnapura and Kegalle.

North Western ProvinceNorth Western Province is comprised of two administrative districts viz. Kurunegala and Puttalam. The provincial capital is Kurunegala that has a population of 28,571. The province is well known for its coconut plantations.

Northern ProvinceThe Northern Province is located in the north of Sri Lanka just 35 km from India. It has a land area of 8,884 km’. The province is surrounded by the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay to the west, Palk Strait to the north west, the Bay of Bengal to the north and east and the Eastern, North Central and North Western provinces to the south.

Eastern ProvinceAnother province of Sri Lanka mostly known for its golden beaches and the natural harbour, the Eastern Province which is 9,996 km2 in extent consists of three administrative districts namely Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara.
