BMW Serie 3
La BMW Serie 3 es una línea de autos ejecutivos compactos fabricados por el fabricante alemán BMW desde mayo de 1975. Es la sucesora de la Serie 02 y ha sido producida en siete generaciones.
La primera generación de la Serie 3 estuvo disponible solo como una berlina de 2 puertas; la gama de modelos se expandió para incluir una berlina de 4 puertas, un descapotable de 2 puertas, un coupé de 2 puertas, un familiar de 5 puertas, un liftback de 5 puertas ("Gran Turismo") y un hatchback de 3 puertas. Desde 2013, los modelos coupé y descapotable se comercializan como la Serie 4, estilos que ya no están incluidos en la Serie 3.
La Serie 3 es el modelo más vendido de BMW, representando alrededor del 30% de las ventas anuales totales de automóviles de la marca BMW, y ha ganado numerosos premios a lo largo de su historia.
La versión M de la Serie 3, el M3, debutó con el E30 M3 en 1986.
