Okres Gampaha
Okres Gampaha je jedním z 25 okresů Srí Lanky, což je druhá úroveň administrativního dělení země. Je to druhý nejvíce zalidněný okres v Srí Lance po okrese Colombo. Okres je spravován okresním sekretariátem, který vede okresní tajemník jmenovaný centrální vládou Srí Lanky. Hlavním městem okresu je město Gampaha. Negombo je však největším městem a obchodním centrem okresu Gampaha. Okres byl vytvořen ze severní části okresu Colombo v září 1978.
Okres Gampaha se nachází na západě Srí Lanky a má rozlohu 1 387 čtverečních kilometrů (536 čtverečních mil). Na severu sousedí s okresy Kurunegala a Puttalam, na východě s Kegalle, na jihu s Colombo a na západě s Indickým oceánem. Hranice okresu tvoří řeka Ma Oya na severu, řeka Kelani na jihu a konturová linie 1 000 stop na východě.
Okres Gampaha je rozdělen do 13 správních oddělení (DS Divize), z nichž každé vede správce divize. Oddělení DS jsou dále rozděleny do 1 177 Grama Niladhari divizí (GN divizí).
Populace okresu Gampaha činila v roce 2012 2 294 641 lidí. Většina populace jsou Sinhálci, s menšinami sri lanských Moors a sri lanských Tamilů.
