Distrito de Colombo
Colombo é a capital comercial e a maior cidade de Sri Lanka em termos de população. De acordo com o Brookings Institution, a área metropolitana de Colombo tem uma população de 5,6 milhões de pessoas, e a cidade propriamente dita tem 752.993 habitantes. É o centro financeiro da ilha e um destino turístico.
