Tijdens je tijd in Negombo kun je de volgende activiteiten ondernemen:
Aankomst op de Colombo Internationale Luchthaven. Hier word je verwelkomd door een aangewezen chauffeur-gids van Lakpura. Na de formaliteiten op de luchthaven word je naar je airconditioned voertuig begeleid en ga je naar Negombo voor het inchecken in het hotel.
2 Dagen in Kandy
Tijdens je tijd in Kandy kun je de volgende activiteiten ondernemen.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is het huis van jonge olifanten die zijn verdreven of hun natuurlijke habitat hebben verloren, gelegen in het dorp Pinnawala in de provincie Sabaragamuwa in Sri Lanka. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is de beste plek voor een persoonlijke en directe ervaring met de grootste landzoogdieren ter wereld! Tegenwoordig, met 70 olifanten hier, is Pinnawala het thuis van de grootste groep olifanten in gevangenschap ter wereld.
De Tempel van de Tand Relikwie, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed, werd in de 16e eeuw gebouwd als een plaats van verering en bescherming voor de heilige tand van Boeddha. Wandel door de prachtig versierde hallen en passages, die zijn beschilderd in rood, crème en zwart. Leun tegen de verfijnd gesculpteerde zuilen en laat je verrassen door de prachtige gouden beelden. Beleef een onvergetelijke ervaring van geschiedenis en kunst.
De Royal Botanical Gardens van Peradeniya, opgericht begin 19e eeuw. Wandel door het enorme gebied met meer dan 4000 plantensoorten. 2 Dagen in Nuwara Eliya
Tijdens je tijd in Nuwara Eliya kun je de volgende activiteiten ondernemen.
De treinreis van Kandy naar Nanu Oya (Nuwara Eliya) neemt je mee op een schilderachtige rit door enkele van de mooiste landelijke gebieden in de hooglanden van Sri Lanka. Kijk naar de schitterende groene tapijten van de theeplantages. Zie de pittoreske dorpjes met mistige bergachtergronden voorbijtrekken. Kijk door de motregen en mist om de magische landschappen van de Hill Country te zien. Geniet van de indrukwekkende uitzichten op imposante bergen, diepe donkere bossen en magnifieke watervallen die voorbij je ramen passeren.
Bezoek een theeplantage om te leren hoe thee in Sri Lanka wordt geproduceerd. Je kunt de theepikkers, lokaal bekend als 'tea pluckers', zien bewegen tussen de groene rijen op de bergen met hun grote manden. Daarna krijg je een begeleide tour die het fermenteren, rollen, drogen, snijden, zeven en classificeren van thee uitlegt. Eindig met een theesmaakervaring en leer waarom Ceylon-thee wordt beschouwd als een van de beste ter wereld.
Bezoek de bergstad die het favoriete vakantieoord van de Britten was in de 19e en begin 20e eeuw. Bezoek het prachtige Horton Plains National Park in Ohiya, met zijn bergachtige graslanden en wolkenbossen. Geniet van de majestueuze uitzichten vanaf de klif van World's End en de verfrissende spatten van Baker's Falls. Kijk uit naar de vele endemische dieren die hun huis in de vlaktes hebben. 4 Dagen in Hikkaduwa
Tijdens je tijd in Hikkaduwa kun je de volgende activiteiten ondernemen.
Geniet van een safari die je de kans geeft om het geweldige Udawalawe National Park te verkennen. Reis door de moerassen, bossen en graslanden van het park, dat in de jaren 70 werd opgericht als toevluchtsoord voor wilde dieren. Zie de water vogels en Sri Lankaanse olifanten waarvoor het park beroemd is. Kijk uit naar andere zoogdieren en vogels, evenals reptielen, amfibieën en vlinders.
Ontdek de stad Galle, waar de Portugezen en Nederlanders hun hoofdkwartieren hadden, en ontdek de geheimen ervan. Bezoek het Galle Fort, dat een van de best bewaarde vestingwerken in Azië is. Bezoek historische monumenten zoals de oude vuurtoren, het oude parlement, het Galle Face Hotel, Galle Face Green, de Gangarama Tempel, het Nationaal Museum en meer. Geniet van de winkelcentra op Independence Square of de Race Course. Bezoek boetieks en designwinkels.

1 Day in Negombo
Upon arrival, you will be directed to your hotel in Negombo where you can relax before your travelling begins. Negombo is a beachside resort town that is much loved by many due to its proximity to Colombo as well as the airport. The city is known for its vibrant culture, fishing harbor, golden beaches as well as the water sports.
After arrival at the Colombo Airport, you will be picked up from the Airport by your Chauffeur Guide from Lakpura. After the introductions, you will be escorted by air-conditioned private vehicle to your hotel in Negombo.
3 Days in Kandy
Your three days in the capital of the hill country will be spent by visiting the Millennium Elephant Foundation providing funding for sick elephants and then enjoying an extravagant cultural show. A temple run tour will change your mood to one of tranquility while the tea factory visit will teach you more about tea. You will also visit Nuwara Eliya.
Millennium Elephant Foundation
The Foundation provides and funds the care, medical treatments, food, mahout salaries, the running costs of the charity as well as having an on-call Mobile Veterinary Unit which travels around the country treating sick elephants in need.
Cultural Show
The Kandy Cultural Show gives an opportunity to experience some of the traditions of Sri Lanka. Enjoy this hour-long extravaganza as some of the most popular art forms of the island take to the stage. Get wowed by fire dancers and sword dancers. Watch the colourful Kandyan dancers take to the air to the thrumming primal beat of the drums.
Temple Run Tour
Get amazed by the wood crafting masterpiece that is the Embekke Temple. Wander through the historic and beautiful Gadaladeniya Temple and view its wonderful paintings and sculptures. Visit the Lankatilaka temple that was quite architecturally advanced for its time. Nuwara Eliya
Visit the highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages, quaint villas and beautiful mansions. Make a memory in the old red-bricked post-office as you purchase an inexpensive and colourful postcard to take home or send to your friends. Relax at Queen Victoria Park or on the shores of Lake Gregory.
2 Days in Dambulla
Then, enroute to Dambulla we will drop by at a spice garden where you will be educated on the Sri Lankan spices and Ayurvedic medicine. You can enjoy a local village experience and visit famous historical places such as the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. A safari at the Minneriya National Park awaits you.
Matale Spice Tour
The Matale Spice Tour gives you a hands-on experience of a Spice & Herbal Garden within the Spice capital of Sri Lanka, Matale. The garden is enriched with herbs, spice groves and plants with fragrant greenery shading from the tropical trees that heighten the unique aroma of each spice and herb. Fort Frederick
