Explore Blue Water Pond Cave from Ella

Once you enter from the cave entrance you will have to descend about one hour to reach the blue water pond. Time may vary with the no. of pax in the group. Although this cave appears to be a close system, both water and air are fresh which means there is an outflow as stated in King Ravana's folk tales.

What to Expect

We arrange transportation to the underground cave site from Ella town.Once you enter from the cave entrance you will have to descend about one hour to reach the blue water pond. Time may be vary with the no. of pax in the group.Although this cave appears to be a close system, both water and air are fresh which means there is an outflow as stated in the King Ravana's folk tales.

Through out the tour you will be accompanied by a local guide as well as guide train in first aid. Further head lam and safety gears will be provided to ensure the safety. You can refresh yours before ascending back to the surface by splashing this water into your face. Our tours guide will share the legend of King Ravana for you to better understand the mysteries that still in Sri Lanka.

Notes

Long Trousers and Comfortable walking shoes recommended for this tour. Drive time may change due to unpredictable road traffic. Photography stops on the way can be arranged but within locations with reasonable parking areas.
