Paramotoring from Bentota

Fly high to your heart's content when you visit Bentota on your next tour to Sri Lanka. One of the best and most adventurous ways to admire the beauty of mother nature, we have introduced you to paramotoring along the coast of the beautiful seaside resort town of Aluthgama, which is about 1 km away from Bentota. Paramotoring, also known as powered paragliding, is a form of ultralight aviation that is done with the use of a backpack motor (paramotor). This machine is navigated by a well-trained pilot, who has experience in launching and paragliding.

Experience:

Your meeting point for the paramotoring experience will be the beautiful coastal town of Aluthgama, while the route you will be taking the flight will be along the Aluthgama Beach. Please note that according to the rules and regulations imposed on such activities, we will be checking the weather before the activity. Also, a pre-flight inspection is carried out on the paramotor and wing before every launch, and proper flying instructions are followed according to the Guidelines issued by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.

The pilot will launch the aircraft with the passenger while a paramotor is considered one of the safest forms of aviation since it is capable of flying low and slow, assuring your safety, especially if you are a beginner. Enjoy the perfect views of the Aluthgama coastline while the flight lasts for 10 minutes. No professional photography or video services are included, and guests are allowed to bring their own cameras if required. Please make sure they are safely handled as the pilot will only be handling the paramotor.

Please note there should be a minimum weight of 25kg to enjoy paramotoring (Approx. age 12+).
