What to Expect

Travel to the giant local produce market in Pettah and experience the noise, smells and sounds of this place, where thousands buy the best vegetables to take home. Enjoy the local flavors with Achcharu from the Achcharu Hut and be refreshed at the Juice Hut. Go for a walk along Galle Face Green afterwards, followed by savoring egg hoppers, normal hoppers, tempered kadala, prawn vadé and parippu vadé in the street food stalls that line the Green. Finish off at the open kitchens of 'Nana' with a dinner of Kottu.
