Cooking Experiment with Sri Lankan Spices from Matale City

Step into a home kitchen in Matale and spend two hands-on hours learning to cook Sri Lankan food from scratch. Guided by a personal chef, you work at a traditional cooking station using clay pots and coconut spoons to prepare dishes such as dhal, Coconut Sambol, and Chicken Curry. Every ingredient is provided, so you simply roll up your sleeves and cook.

This is a private session — just your group and your chef — conducted in English, and open to guests aged five and above. Once your dishes are ready, sit down to a traditional Sri Lankan lunch made entirely by your own hands. Note that transport to and from the location is not included, so arrange your own transfer from wherever you are staying in the Matale area.
