Look out for these predators as they prowl majestically around the park, as you enjoy the dry shrub jungles, beaches, grasslands and marine wetlands all within the park’s boundaries. Spend a day just roving around or marvel at the impressive beauty of elephants, as they roam around; the cautious deer scampering by their side.

If you wish for a more relaxing activity, a boat ride along the Weerawila Lake is a must. Hambantota Bölgesi Hakkında

Hambantota, Sri Lanka'nın güneydoğu kıyı bölgesinde yer alan kırsal bir kasabadır. Aynı zamanda Sri Lanka'nın Güney Eyaleti'ndeki Hambantota Bölgesi'nin başkentidir. Colombo'ya yaklaşık 240 km uzaklıkta bulunan Hambantota, kapsamlı altyapı geliştirme çalışmalarıyla stratejik bir liman ve ticaret merkezine dönüşme sürecindedir. Geniş kumlu plajlarla çevrili Hambantota, yakınlardaki turistik yerleri ziyaret etmek için uygun bir konumdadır.

Bundala Milli Parkı, Hambantota'nın 20 km doğusunda, Weerawila Koruma Alanı ise biraz daha uzakta yer almaktadır. Ruhuna Milli Parkı ve Kataragama Tapınağı da bu şehirden kolayca ulaşılabilen diğer turistik yerlerdir.
