The world-renowned Uva region lies to the verdant east of Sri Lankas mountainous heart, at an altitude of 3000 to 4000 feet. During the monsoon winds of July and August, sunny days and cooler nights have a drying action that makes the teas exceptionally fragrant and full Flavoured.
This particular grade of tea is an Orange Pekoe 1, with its characteristic thin and wiry leaf appearance. We have specially selected it for its light body and refreshingly sweet, delicate taste.
