Nissan Caravane E25
Le Nissan Caravan est un véhicule utilitaire léger conçu pour être utilisé comme véhicule de flotte ou fourgonnette de transport, fabriqué par Nissan depuis 1973. Entre 1976 et 1997, une version rebadgée du Caravan a été vendue sous le nom de Nissan Homy, qui a été introduit comme modèle indépendant en 1965. En dehors du Japon, le Caravan a également été vendu sous les noms de Nissan Urvan ou Nissan King Van, ou plus tôt sous la marque Datsun.
Toutes les générations utilisent une approche de cabine sur moteur en raison des réglementations dimensionnelles du gouvernement japonais, qui imposent une taxe annuelle sur les véhicules plus grands, et cette approche maximise l’espace intérieur tout en restant dans les dimensions extérieures définies.
Nissan a produit la série E25 d’avril 2001 à 2012. Elle a également été vendue sous le nom d’Isuzu Como sur le marché japonais, remplaçant la dernière génération d’Isuzu Fargo, qui était une version rebadgée du Caravan E24. Le modèle Urvan en Nouvelle-Zélande a obtenu une note d’une étoile dans le test de collision ANCAP.
