BMW Série 3
La BMW Série 3 est une gamme de voitures compactes de luxe fabriquées par le constructeur automobile allemand BMW depuis mai 1975. Elle est le successeur de la Série 02 et a été produite en sept générations.
La première génération de la Série 3 n'était disponible que sous forme de berline à 2 portes ; la gamme s'est élargie pour inclure une berline à 4 portes, un cabriolet à 2 portes, un coupé à 2 portes, un break à 5 portes, un liftback à 5 portes ("Gran Turismo") et un hatchback à 3 portes. Depuis 2013, les modèles coupé et cabriolet sont commercialisés sous le nom de Série 4, ces styles ne faisant plus partie de la Série 3.
La Série 3 est le modèle le plus vendu de BMW, représentant environ 30 % des ventes annuelles totales de la marque BMW et a remporté de nombreux prix tout au long de son histoire.
La version M de la Série 3, la M3, a fait ses débuts avec l'E30 M3 en 1986.
