Deegavapiya (Deegawapiya)
Deegavapiya es un antiguo templo budista que es muy visitado debido a su importancia histórica y religiosa. La importancia de Deegavapiya está relacionada con leyendas sobre visitas de Buda a este sitio. Most of the civilians are Sinhala, while Tamils and Moors also live in the coastal parts of the district.
