Minneriya nationalpark utgör en del av en elefantkorridor som förbinder Kaudulla nationalpark och Wasgamuwa nationalpark. Under perioden juli till oktober samlas stora elefantflockar vid Minneriyareservoaren när vattenkällorna i de omgivande områdena torkar ut.

About Polonnaruwa District

Polonnaruwa is the 2nd largest city in north central province in Sri Lanka.
