Hiriwadunna Viharaya (Hiriwadunna Sri Bodhiraja Forest Hermitage) on buddhistlik tempel, mis asub Hiriwadunna külas Anuradhapura piirkonnas, vaid 2 km kaugusel Habarana linnast. Templi alal on laiali hajutatud mitmed iidsete struktuuride varemed. Looduslik Hiriwadunna järv, mille ehitas kuningas Wasaba, asub templi asukoha lähedal.

See koht sai populaarseks paar aastat tagasi, kui kohalik preester avaldas vandenõuteooriate raamatu pealkirjaga ‘Apa Upan Me Helabima Budun Upan Jambudweepayai’, kus väideti, et Buddha sündis ja elas iidsetes Sri Lankas. Suur kiviplokk, mis on tõenäoliselt Asanagara (Buddha sümboolne istumispaik), asub iidse bo-puu juures, nüüd osaliselt puu juurte alla maetud, ja on määratud Vajrasanaya kohaks, kus Buddha istus valgustatuse ajal. Ükskõik, kas need ideed raamatus on õiged või mitte, mida on paljuski tagasilükatud ja isegi keelatud raamatukogudes, on Hiriwadunna ajalooline koht, mida peaksid külastama kõik, kes on huvitatud Sri Lanka ajaloost ja budistlikust pärandist.
