Continue to the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Hatchery, where you can learn about conservation projects dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles. Observe rescued turtles and hatchlings while discovering the work carried out by local conservationists.

Travel further south to the historic city of Galle and explore the magnificent Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Walk along the ancient ramparts overlooking the Indian Ocean, admire the colonial architecture, browse boutique shops, visit charming cafés, and capture photographs of the iconic Galle Lighthouse.

You may stop for lunch at a restaurant in Galle or along the southern coast. Lunch is optional and payable directly at the restaurant.
