Postal codes for these suburbs generally begin with “10” or “11” and extend into more residential and semi urban regions surrounding Colombo City. These areas are important for housing, government offices, and growing commercial zones. Having separate postal codes helps ensure accurate mail delivery, local identity, and administrative organization.
