Flat Water Kayaking from Kitulgala

Experience:

You will be picked up at your hotel at 0700 hrs. If you are being picked up from Mount Lavinia, the travel time would be 3 hours, meaning that you reach your destination at 1000 hrs.

Kitulgala, surrounded by lush rainforests, is a hub for various adventure sports including flatwater kayaking. The Kelani River provides a perfect environment for a tranquil kayaking experience. You will be guided by experienced instructors with safety equipment and assistance available.

Upon arrival, you will be briefed on safety measures and kayaking techniques by your instructor. Your flatwater kayaking session will last approximately 2 hours, allowing you to explore the calm waters and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

After your session, you can have lunch (at your own expense) at the adventure base’s restaurant, offering healthy and authentic Sri Lankan meals. After lunch, you will collect your belongings and begin your journey back to Mount Lavinia at 1300 hrs.
