Sri Lanka boasts of over 100 of dragonfly species while over 50 of them are endemic species. Another perfect location to spot these magical winged insects is Nuwara Eliya. Due to its high altitude and and wet environment, there are plenty of dragonflies that can be spotted if you are out and about on a nature trail. You can even enjoy a walk at the Hakgala Botanical Gardens which is also a fine place to spot these flying insects.
