Located along the South Eastern coast of Eastern coast of Sri Lanka, Kalametiya is located in the Hambantota district within proximity of the Kumana Bird Life Sanctuary. Boasting of a bio-diversity that consists of mangrove forests, reed beds, salt marshes and wetland trees, the Kalametiya lagoon area is the ideal place for birds to roam around.
